Braised chestnuts
Instructions
Peeled chestnuts.
In a saucepan melt the butter, let insaporitevi the Browns for a minute and cover with a litre and a half of broth.
Add a bay leaf, whole thyme leaves and a stick of celery.
Cover and bake in preheated oven at 220 degrees for 45 minutes, moving the Pan every now and then, but without mixing because they do not break.
Add salt and pepper at the end.
Serve as a side dish of Guinea fowl, ducks, geese and carvery.

- 600 g of brown
- 20 g of butter
- 150 cl of meat broth
- 1 leaf of laurel
- Little of thyme
- 1 costa of white celery
- Salt
- Pepper
