Braised endives
Instructions
Heat the oven to 170 degrees (5 thermostat).
Wash and drain the endives, leave them whole.
Peel the onion and chop finely.
Melt the butter in a saucepan, barely able to contain the two endives cutlery side by side.
Add the onion and let it cook until it becomes transparent.
Please warm up the endives in butter separately until the outer leaves begin to wilt.
Place them close together, add the wine and bring to a boil.
Add the bouquet of smells, add salt and pepper.
Cover the saucepan and put it in the oven.
Cook for 25 minutes.
After this time drain the endives, cut them in half lengthwise.
Place the half-cut endives on in a service dish.
Cover with the onion, pour the cooking sauce and serve.

- 2 endives salad
- 25 g of butter
- 1 onion
- 15 cl of dry white wine
- 1 bunch of smells
- Salt
- Pepper
