Apple Sauce (Salsa Alle Mele)
Instructions
Peel the apples, cut them into thin slices.
Cover the bottom of a pot with a finger with cold water, add apples.
Cook in covered container and moderate flame for a quarter of an hour, stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon.
When apples are reduced almost to mashed, add salt and pepper lightly, add the butter, lemon juice, and stir in the cream, mixing carefully.
Complete with a teaspoon of grated horseradish and serve.

- 2 apples
- 30 g of butter
- 1 lemon (juice)
- 3 tablespoons of cream
- 1 teaspoon of grated horseradish
- Salt
- Pepper
