Roast leg of Lamb (2)
Instructions
Cut off the end of the leg.
Cut the pancetta into sticks.
Logs the leg, after having practiced incisions on the meat with a knife, with the bacon sticks, small sprigs of Rosemary and garlic fillet.
Salt and pepatelo.
Fire place a saucepan with the butter and four tablespoons of olive oil, when the anointed will lay the hot leg and let it cook about lively time focusing often.
Then sprinkle with white wine that you will leave partially evaporated.
After you put the leg in oven and let this for about 50 minutes.
Every now and then sprinkling it with the cooking.
If necessary, add a little warm water or, better yet, stock.
Place the Lamb on a dish passed the sauce to go late, then pour it over the meat.
Presented in table accompanying Lamb with baked potatoes or lettuce.
Ingredients and dosing for 4 persons
- 1 leg of lamb of at least 1000 g
- 1 slice of bacon (sliced from 100 g)
- 30 g of butter
- 2 sprigs of rosemary
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1 glass dry white wine
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
