Scrape and rinse the carrots.

Dry them and slice them very thin slices.

Peel and dice Apple.

Melt half the dose of butter in a pan, add carrots and apples and combine 2 tablespoons water.

Cook over medium heat and cover pan, adding a little water if necessary.

Toward the end of cooking add the rest of the butter, salt, pepper and a pinch of sugar, stir well and finish baking.
