Cabbage Gratin (Verza al Gratin)
Instructions
Clean cabbage, leaving whole leaves, but devoid of the central coast.
Boil them al dente and lay them on a cloth.
Braise the chopped onion with oil and diced bacon.
Line the bottom of an oiled baking dish with cabbage leaves; distribute to layers part of onions, cubes of provolone, grana, other cabbage.
Sprinkle with broth and bake.

- 1 cabbage
- 100 g of bacon
- 2 onions
- 1/4 chicken stock (or vegetable)
- Olive oil extra virgin
- 30 g of sweet provolone cheese
- Grated parmesan cheese
- Salt
- Pepper
