Heat in a saucepan three tablespoons of oil and insaporitevi the onion, carrot and a stick of celery, chopped.
When they took color add the potatoes and turnips cut into cubes.
Mix well, pour the boiling broth.
Return to a boil then lower the heat and continue cooking for 45 minutes.
Add the bricks and cook another 8 minutes.
Adjust salt and pepper.
