Barley and peas soup
Instructions
Prepare a mixture with onion, celery and scallions and let it wilt in butter over low heat.
Add the broth and bring to a boil.
Pour in the broth, peas and barley and cook for about 90 minutes.
Before serving sprinkle with parsley and season with grated Parmesan.
Ingredients and dosing for 4 persons
- 5 tablespoons of pearl barley soaked
- 100 cl of meat broth
- 1 cup of frozen peas
- 1 onion
- 1 costa of celery
- 1 shallot
- 25 g of butter
- Chopped parsley
- Grated parmesan cheese
- Salt
