Grandma's cake
Instructions
Put the butter into the mold that you'll use to bake the cake and let it melt in the oven at moderate heat.
When completely melted, and before it gets to fry, remove from the oven and let it cool.
Put the egg yolks into a bowl.
Add the sugar and beat with a whisk until mixture is light and fluffy.
Add a little at a time the sifted flour, alternating with milk and the melted butter warm.
Stir with a wooden spoon until the ingredients are well blended and have formed a mixture is smooth and creamy.
Aromatizzatelo with the zest of a lemon, a sachet of vanilla powder and a nightcap at anise, finally add the baking powder, sent down by a sieve.
Transfer the mixture into the mould used before, that will be remained slightly greased with butter, sprinkle with sugar in grains, you have here and there and peeled almonds in the oven already hot (180 degrees) for about 40 minutes.
After check the doneness of the sweet infilzandolo with a toothpick: if it comes out dry, turn off the oven, let stand the bagel for 5 minutes, then take it out and let it cool completely.
Put the cake on a serving dish and serve.

- 400 g of flour
- 150 g of butter
- 250 g of sugar
- 1 glass of milk
- == 1 lemon (zest)
- 3 egg yolks
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 sachet of baking powder
- 1 sachet of vanilla powder
- 1 dram of aniseed liqueur
- 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar
- 1 handful of peeled almonds
