Scottish pancakes
Instructions
Combine the egg yolks flour one after another stirring.
Dissolve sugar in milk and add gradually to the mixture.
Combine the melted butter and work the mixture to obtain a smooth batter to rest for 1 hour then add the egg whites, heat the oil and pour the mixture in spoonfuls.
Serve piping hot pancakes sprinkled with powdered sugar.
Ingredients and dosing for 4 persons
- 200 g of flour
- 70 g of butter
- 4 egg yolks
- 4 egg whites mounted to snow
- 50 cl of milk
- 50 g of sugar
- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
- Olive oil
