Pumpkin flowers and mushrooms fried with batter
Instructions
The basic ingredients for the batter:
flour, eggs (yolk or egg white only), a pinch of salt, water, milk or beer to dilute the mixture. If it must be used for salty foods can be flavored with cheese, parsley or other herbs, when used for sweet foods can be enriched with lemon zest, orange or cognac.
Often to inflate more frying is also added yeast or the whites of the eggs mounted to snow.
