Torta di Saint-Pierre
Instructions
Valdostana recipe.
Cook the apples with very little water in a pan. Switch off as soon as they are cooked.
Separately, in another saucepan, weak focusing, pour about half of the sugar; continuing to stir, add the breadcrumbs and butter (softened), then finish with the remaining butter and knead until mixture is smooth and soft.
In the Pan greased with butter cream layer esplanades of breadcrumbs, a layer of apples, a layer of jam, then sprinkle generously with grated cinnamon; Repeat layers, ending with the breadcrumbs.
Go in the oven (hot already, to 180°); Cook until "au gratin" cooking.
Once removed from the oven, cover with whipped cream and serve immediately.
