Instructions

ingredients for 4 people

2 chicken breasts, 3 apples, an onion, a glass of milk, a slice of bread, a cup of flour plus 1 tablespoon, 3 tablespoons milk, a glass of Calvados or Apple liqueur, 1/2 cup of olive oil, nutmeg, salt and pepper.

Procedure

Peel the onion, chop finely and soffriggetela in a pan with a tablespoon of oil to 4 minutes, until browned. Sprinkle with flour and let it toast for a minute, add an Apple, peeled and grated. Continue cooking for a few seconds.

Pour the milk and stir constantly, letting it cook for 10 minutes. Before the end of cooking, add salt and flavored with a pinch of nutmeg and keep aside. Place the slice of bread in milk. Chop the chicken breasts and the rest of the apples; put into a bowl, add the slice of bread just drained, mix well all the ingredients and add salt.

Formed with this mixture of croquettes, put them in flour and FRY in a pan with the remaining oil, for 5 minutes. Fiammeggiate with Calvados and served with warm Apple sauce.
