Instructions
Boil the potatoes.
When they are cooked, pass the potato masher and let cool.
In a bowl, beat the sugar with the egg yolks and grated lemon peel.
Add the mashed potatoes, stir well, then add gently whipped egg whites well stop and pour everything into a well buttered Cake mould.
Bake at 180 degrees.
After a quarter of an hour, spread over nuts chopped (to taste; I put walnuts, almonds and pine nuts) and continue cooking until the classic stick comes out dry.
Let cool, sprinkle with icing sugar.
