Sweet mascarpone cheese
Instructions
Remove the butter from the refrigerator and allow to soften at room temperature.
In a bowl mix together butter and mascarpone until mixture is smooth and homogeneous.
Add the sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla and cornstarch.
Stir vigorously.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Add the cream and two teaspoons of lemon juice.
You have to get a rather dense.
Pour into a buttered round.
Bake in preheated oven at 150 degrees for about half an hour.
As soon as you see the surface take on a golden colour, increase heat to 240 degrees and simmer for 10 minutes or so.
Remove the mold, let cool.
Put and keep in refrigerator until ready to serve.
Accompanying wines: Moscato D'Asti DOCG, Moscadello Di Montalcino "Bubbly" DOC, Moscato Di Noto "Spumante" DOC.

- 500 g of mascarpone
- 60 g of butter
- 150 g of sugar
- 30 g of maizena
- 4 eggs
- 20 cl of cream
- 1 tablespoon of vanillin
- 2 teaspoons of lemon juice
