Cauliflower with white sauce
Instructions
Steaming cauliflower still al dente, drain and arrange in a baking pan previously greased with oil and sprinkled with breadcrumbs.
Cover them with bechamel sauce that you prepared by heating oil, incorporate the flour and add, a little at a time, stirring to make a smooth cream, the cooking water of the hot cauliflower, drizzled with a pinch of salt and the thyme.
After having covered the cauliflower sauce, sprinkled with grated Parmesan and bake for 20 minutes in a hot oven, until the formation of a crust.
Serve hot.
The same can be done for the Brussels sprouts and other vegetables .

- 2 medium cauliflowers
- 80 g of parmigiano
- Olive oil
- Breadcrumbs
- For the bechamel:
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of flour
- 1 sprig of thyme
- Salt
- 1 1/2 cup of cauliflower cooking water
