Instructions

21248 POMEGRANATE SYRUP pomegranate beans Ingredients to taste, sugar, juice of 1/2 lemon. Cook 10 minutes, then strain the juice into a bowl. Weigh the juice and add as much sugar and lemon juice. Pour into a saucepan and place over heat. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly, dissolve sugar and let thicken. Bake in well cleaned glass jars and leave in the refrigerator or freezer until time of use. This syrup is used to moisten cakes, to be added to the juice of the fruit, sorbets, sauces and frapp.
