Instructions

05680 and SOUR CHERRY COMPOTE INGREDIENTS for 4 PEOPLE 500 g of small tomatoes, 40 g extra virgin olive oil, 2 cloves of garlic, 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar, 50 g white wine vinegar, salt and pepper.

To serve: toasted bread.

Wash very well the tomatoes and remove the stalk.

With a small sharp knife, prick a lateral cut across all tomatoes, how to cut them in half, but only by engraving a few millimeters.

Peel the garlic cloves and slice into thin slices.

Put the vinegar into a glass and diluitevi sugar.

Heat oil to fresh fire in a saucepan and saute the slices of garlic without coloring them.

After a few minutes add the tomatoes and squirt immediately with vinegar.

Turn up the heat and simmer for 5 minutes or so from the beginning of the boil, stirring often.

At the end, add salt and pepper as desired.

You can serve this with slices of toasted bread and rubbed with garlic.

Keep in the fridge for a few days, well covered with their cooking liquid.
