Cherries in Alcohol (Ciliegie Sotto Spirito)
Instructions
Cut the cherry petiole to about an inch from the base.
In a bowl, rinse and dry them very gently, then layer them in glass jars trying not to leave too many gaps.
Sprinkle with sugar, add a bit of cinnamon and cloves and cover with alcohol.
Close and put to rest in a dark and cool place for about two months before opening the jars.

- 2000 g of cherries
- 800 g of sugar
- 100 cl of pure alcohol
- Cinnamon
- Cloves
