Floral cake
Instructions
INGREDIENTS 4 PEOPLE 300 g type 00 flour, 200 g wheat flour (or corn), 200 g sugar, 100 g butter, 3 eggs, a 250 g pack of applesauce, 20 g candied fruits, a sachet of baking powder, butter and flour for the baking, icing sugar.
Turn on the oven and bring it to a temperature of 200° c.
Place flour in fontana on work surface, add the yeast, sugar, butter (softened to room temperature) and two whole eggs plus a red.
Quickly knead all the ingredients and make a ball.
Grease a baking pan of 26 cm diameter sprinkle flour and line it with a thin layer (equivalent to approximately 1/8 of the total).
Pour the applesauce in a bowl and add the candied fruits and mix well.
On well-floured work surface roll the remaining dough into a sheet, then cut it into rather thin in 10 that you will add the rectangles with plenty of applesauce.
Roll up each rectangle onto itself to form a cylinder.
Place upright in the Pan slightly spaced cylinders made to leave the necessary space to rise.
Cook in the oven for 40 minutes.
Served cold with a cake powdered with icing sugar.
