Honey sabadas
Instructions
On a pastry Board formed a fountain with flour; in the Middle put the eggs and lard and mix well to obtain a smooth and homogeneous paste.
Roll out the dough into very thin sheets from which ritaglierete of the squares centered you pieces of fresh pecorino; fold on themselves the squares by pressing the edges well.
Fry the sabadas in a pan with plenty of oil and, once cooked, put them on absorbent paper and serve hot, they have been wetted with a little honey bitter liquid.
Ingredients and dosing for 4 persons
- 600 g of flour
- 80 g of lard
- 400 g of fresh pecorino cheese
- 6 eggs
- Bitter honey
- Abundant of frying oil
