Gnocchi alla romana with mozzarella
Instructions
Boil the milk with a pinch of salt.
Pour in the semolina, stirring to avoid lumps forming, and Cook, stirring, for 15 or 20 minutes.
Remove from heat, add the egg yolks (or whole eggs), nutmeg and Parmesan cheese.
Pour on a shelf or on a moistened plate, spread the mixture using a wet spatula in a layer about one finger.
When it is cooled cut, using a glass, diskettes.
Place the disks into a buttered baking dish, overlapping each disc with a slice of mozzarella and another disk, sprinkle with Parmesan and gratinate in the oven.
