Gargantua
Instructions
The ' Gargantua ' is a simple but very welcome beer-based punch, easy preparation.
Take warm beer in a saucepan along with the sherry until nearly to boiling sweetened to taste, and sbriciolatevi in the bread.
Put the lemon peels into the bottom of a bowl of punch and pour over the boiling liquid.
Spiced with nutmeg and serve the punch in filtering heat-resistant glasses.
Ingredients and dosing for 4 persons
- 2 bottles of lager
- 1/2 bottle of sherry
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 2 slices of toasted sliced bread
- 2 lemons (zest)
- 1 pinch of nutmeg
