Instructions
In a saucepan melt the butter, let stand the onions clean, adjust salt and stir with a wooden spoon.
When the onions have absorbed part of the seasoning, sprinkle them with sugar and cover flush with lukewarm water.
Cover and bring to a low broil until the liquid is completely evaporated.
The surface of the spring onions should appear veiled by a slight caramelization.
Put them on the serving dish.
This is a very pleasant taste and represents the ideal side dish to serve the roasted meat.
