Rose cake in the microwave
Instructions
Mix flour, sugar, eggs, butter and yeast until you get a soft and homogeneous dough.
In a bowl mix the walnuts, raisins, slices of bread Peel the edges and chopped finely, two tablespoons of sugar, the lemon peel, milk and egg.
Roll out the dough with a rolling pin and do lots of strips about 4-5 cm long and about 12 cm.
On each strip spread some filling and roll up the swivel type.
Arrange all swivels so concentric on crisp lined with baking paper, broadening the tops so they look like roses.
Brush with beaten egg yolk with milk and a teaspoon of sugar.
Cook in microwave with crisp function for about 16 minutes.
Before serving you can sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Ingredients and dosing for 8 persons
- For the dough:
- 350 g of flour
- 120 g of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of yeast
- == 1 whole egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 100 g of butter
- For the filling:
- 250 g of chopped walnuts
- 150 g of sultanas
- 12 slices of crumbled bread
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- == 1 lemon (zest)
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 egg
