Instructions
Cut the chicken into small portions and gently dry.
Mix the onion, garlic, lemon juice, salt, ginger, cardamom, nutmeg and butter in a pan.
keep on low heat for two to three minutes.
Combine the water, wine, the Berber and paprika sauce.
Cook for another four or five minutes, or until the sauce is creamy.
Now add the chicken pieces.
Cover and cook for 15 minutes.
Pierce the eggs with a fork and mix in the chicken.
Cook for about 15 minutes or until the chicken is tender.
Ingredients and dosing for 4 persons
- 1500 g of chicken
- 2 sliced onions
- 2 cloves of crushed garlic
- 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
- Salt
- 2 tablespoons of ginger
- 1/2 tablespoon of cardamom
- Some pinches of nutmeg
- 50 g of clarified butter
- 2 tablespoons of berberè mixture
- 4 hardboiled eggs
- Paprika
