Marble cake with chocolate cream
Instructions
Grease a pudding mold without hole of 1.
5 litres capacity.
Diluted cocoa with 1-2 tablespoons boiling water.
Stir and let cool.
Sift the flour with the yeast, add the butter, sugar, eggs and orange juice.
Mix well.
Transfer half the mixture to another bowl.
Stir in half the cocoa mixture, diluted to half the orange zest.
Fill the mold with the two bodies paid to alternate spoons.
At the end put one stick in the mould and move it a couple of times in a circle to create a marbled effect.
Grease aluminum foil and use it to cover the mold, and secure it under the edges.
Bake in a water bath for 2 hours.
Stir the cornstarch a little milk.
In a saucepan melt the chopped chocolate with the rest of the milk.
Remove from heat, cream.
corn starch, sugar and orange zest.
Put on the heat and, stirring, let thicken.
Bring to a boil for 1 minute.
Turn the cake on the serving dish and serve hot, passing apart from chocolate cream.
Ingredients and dosing for 8 persons
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 200 g of flour
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 150 g of butter at room temperature
- 2 eggs
- 5 tablespoons of orange juice
- 1 orange (zest)
- For the cream:
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- 30 cl of milk
- 70 g of chocolate
- 1/2 tablespoon of sugar
- 1 orange (zest)
