Instructions

Whip the egg yolks with sugar.

Dissolve the cornstarch with the cold milk and pour on the egg mixture stirring.

Place the pan over the fire to flame.

Just the cream seems to boil add the lemon juice and let thicken.

Remove from heat, mix the butter, allow to cool and add the whipped cream.

Split the cream into bowls and sprinkle with grated lemon peel.
