Cooking Pilaf (basic recipe)
Instructions
Pilaf in Turkish means rice, it is Turkish rice.
Put in a bowl rather low on butter and chopped onion, seasoning but without taking colour.
To this mixture add the rice, salt lightly and stir because the sauce absorbs.
Cover the rice with boiling water or broth (a quart every 500 g of rice), let it resume boil, cover the Pan, put the salmon in the oven at 175 degrees.
Cook, always covered and never mix, for 18-20 minutes.
Before serving add a bit of butter.
Generally the pilaf is accompanied with shellfish, prawns, scampi, chicken in egg sauce, mushrooms etc.
