Croissants to frankfurters
Instructions
On pastry Board knead the flour with the butter; Add the ricotta cheese, a pinch of salt and 1 whole egg, then knead with your hands until you obtain a homogeneous paste.
Roll the dough with a rolling pin to get a sheet of half a centimetre thick.
Cut the dough into as many squares of about 6 cm.

Place in the center of each square about one-third of frankfurters and a teaspoon of chopped cooked ham.
Roll up the squares diagonally, in order to get the croissants.
Close the ends and place on an oven tray lined with a sheet of baking paper.
Brush the surface of each Croissant with well beaten egg and bake in preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 20 minutes.
You can serve them warm or cold.
