Instructions

Clean and remove the skin to onions; throw them in cold water for about 1 hour.

Drain.

Brown in 1 saucepan the sugar and the butter and add the onions.

Add the broth, salt and pepper.

Stufarle over high heat, stirring constantly until brown and shiny will be.

If necessary, add a few tablespoons of water or broth.
