Banana donut
Instructions
In a bowl mix very well the egg with sugar and butter, then add the previously crushed bananas with a fork to reduce them into puree.
Incorporated to the egg and sugar mixture to the sifted flour with the baking powder, the kernels of nuts and chopped pine nuts, raisins soaked in brandy and water.
Pour the mixture into a mold to be buttered and floured bun previously, then passed in already warm oven at 180 degrees for about 30 minutes.
For the icing, melt the butter, add the cream and apricot jam and mix until you obtain a cream.
Put the cake, pour the frosting and decorate with walnuts and pine nuts.
Ingredients and dosing for 6 persons
- 300 g of flour
- 100 g of butter
- 1 egg
- 100 g of sugar
- 3 bananas
- 1 sachet of vanilla baking powder
- 100 g of walnut kernels
- 1 tablespoon of pine nuts
- 1 handful of sultanas
- Brandy
- For the frosting:
- 4 tablespoons of apricot jam
- 20 g of butter
- 3 tablespoons of cream
