Carrot Cake (Ciambella Alle Carote)
Instructions
In a bowl mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, a pinch of salt, a pinch of ginger and nutmeg.
Add two tablespoons of milk, half a glass of olive oil, melted butter and eggs.
Mix until dough is smooth.
Add the raisins, chopped walnuts and mix.
Finally add the carrots Peel, wash and finely chop.
Grease a mould cake, pour the mixture and bake in preheated oven at 170 degrees for about an hour.
Remove, let cool well.
Put the cake, sprinkle with icing sugar and serve.
