Madeira cake

The Madeira cake is a cake called "basic" but its particularity, that differs from traditional sponge cake, is that it provides a more solid basis, given by texture, which allows to model to your liking.
The taste is similar to a daisy cake but more moist on the inside, so does not require creams and bathroom in-between. You can cover with butter cream or ganache (this realization is used chocolate ganache). However, activity to use with sugar paste requires a cream. This cake is typically appreciated by those who love the simple cakes.
Work the butter and sugar until you reach the consistency of a cream. Sift the flour and baking powder and add them together with eggs (one egg at a time) and aroma in previously prepared compound. Work it until you get a nice soft. Pour in pan and bake at 160° c oven for 1 hour and static to ventilated oven 170° for 15 minutes. The cooking time depends on the character of your oven so before churning out always the test stick.

- 500 g flour
- 1 tablespoon yeast (or 300 gr of flour and baking powder-200 g plain flour)
- 400 g soft butter
- 400 g granulated sugar
- 7 medium eggs
- aroma to taste: lemon juice-Orange-vanilla
