Marinated sardines

07770 SARDINES MARINATED INGREDIENTS for 4 PEOPLE 2 dozens of sardines, "3 of flour, salt, 2 carrots, 1/2 celeriac, 1 onion, 1 clove of garlic, 2 Bay leaves, a few grains of pepper, 2 dl of white wine vinegar, 2 litres of olive oil preparation time: 20 minutes cooking time: 10 minutes Marinating time: 24 hours clean the sardines, divide them and remove their head.
Wash them, dry them and put them in flour.
Peel the carrots and the celery root and cut coarsely sliced.
Peel and cut the onion.
Flour these vegetables.
In a pan heat the oil and do you fry well for 3-4 minutes the sardines.
Then dry them on absorbent kitchen paper.
In the meantime, take the same oil fry the vegetables, then drain and dry on absorbent kitchen paper.
Take a large bowl where you will align the sardines alternate with vegetables.
Add the garlic, Bay leaves and peppercorns.
Water warmed vinegar over heat and cover with olive oil.
Leave to marinate in a cool place the sardines for 24 hours before you taste them accompanied by buttered bread.
