Clean and wash the sardines by removing bones, heads and entrails. You soak the raisins in warm water for 15 minutes. Rinse the anchovies, clean and dry the fillets. Heat the oil in a large skillet and saute the chopped onion then add anchovies and crumble it with a fork, the drained raisins, pine nuts and sardines. Saffron diluted in a little water, and pour it into the Pan, season with salt and fennel. Cover the Pan and cook for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, bring to a boil a saucepan with salted water, immerse the bucatini and cook for the time recommended on the package. Drain and place in the Pan, stir for a few minutes over high heat and serve immediately.
