Star sandwiches
Instructions
The ingredients are for 600 g of sandwiches.
Sift the flour onto the work surface and place a fountain; combine the sugar and add the crumbled yeast, pour a little water and melt; stir in a little flour, then add the butter divided into pieces and a pinch of salt.
Mix the ingredients by adding the remaining water; work quickly as the mixture, folding back on itself and across to the outside (no press to avoid ' tear ') for 10 minutes, until it becomes smooth and homogeneous; Let it rise covered for 50-60 minutes.
With the dough, forming many balls with a diameter of 2-3 cm, deploy them on a baking sheet in the shape of a star, space them a little with each other and with brush on the egg slightly beaten with a fork.
Let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
Cook the «star» in preheated oven at 230 degrees for 10-12 minutes; remove from the oven and let it cool.
With a long-bladed serrated knife cut horizontally the cover of «star».
After clearing a few sandwiches, spread over each individual the farcie prepared, alternating as you wish.
Cover the whole thing with the cut side, pressing it slightly (each guest, so you will be disconnecting individual sandwiches).
