Instructions
Melt the butter over low heat in a pan.
Add the onion and cook for 30-40 minutes, stirring often, until the onion has not.
Add the broth and cook for another 30 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper.
Heat in the oven for 6-7 minutes of bread slices, 2 inches high.
Put the soup in individual containers that can fit in the oven, cover with bread slices and two tablespoons of cheese filling.
