Nougat with figs
Instructions
Bring honey to a boil on low heat and continue in a Bain-Marie.
When whites join the egg whites and cook stirring constantly.
Is ready when a drop thrown into cold water crystallizes.
Add the blanched kernels, shredded and peeled and diced figs.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar and add lemon peel zest to thicken the dough mixing and pouring it on a greased with almond oil.
