Delicious pretzels
Instructions
Sift the flour onto the table top.
At the center of the pile make a hole and put cheese, salt, paprika and baking powder sifted, mix well and add cream.
Work the ingredients incorporating the flour until it forms a thick dough, then add the butter in small pieces and incorporate the flour remaining.
Quickly knead with hands until dough is smooth, then wrap it in plastic wrap and let it rest in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
With a rolling pin roll out the dough into a rectangular pastry 3 mm thick and with floured stencils cut cookies in various shapes.
Place the pretzels on baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with poppy seeds and sesame seeds and pistachios.
Bake in the middle of a preheated oven at 200-210 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
Repeat the operation until the dough.
Ingredients and dosing for 4 persons
- For the dough:
- 250 g of white flour
- 180 g of grated emmenthal cheese
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of sweet paprika
- 1 sachet of pizza yeast
- 10 cl of cooking cream
- 150 g of cold butter refrigerator
- To decorate:
- 1 egg
- 15 g of poppy seeds
- 20 g of sesame seeds
- 20 g of chopped pistachios
