Roasted rice
Instructions
Keep the mushrooms to soak in warm water for 30 minutes.
In a pan Sauté chopped onions and margarine, add the private skin sausage, peas and mushrooms.
Let everything simmer for a few minutes, add the tomatoes and a pinch of salt and pepper.
Diluted with a ladle of broth and simmer for 20 minutes.
Pour into saucepan and simmer rice by diluting a little at a time with the broth and turning rather often.
Keep the rice quite al dente, pour it in a baking dish, cover with the cheese slices, passed to the hot oven for 2 minutes (just long enough to allow slices to merge) and serve.
Ingredients and dosing for 4 persons
- 350 g of rice
- 40 g of butter (or margarine)
- 1/2 onion
- 200 g of fresh sausage
- 20 g of fresh mushrooms
- 100 g of peeled tomatoes
- 5 cheese slices
- Salt
- Pepper
- 125 cl of broth
