Quail in sarcophagus
Instructions
Plucking, clean and tie the quails (one minutes apiece) to keep them in shape, season with salt and pepper.
Wrap with a vine and leaf in a slice of bacon cut thin.
Let Cook for 5 minutes in oil and butter so browned.
Meanwhile, prepare a pastry very thin and close them, like a sarcophagus, a quail at a time, forming many small packages.
Grease a baking Tin with oil, lay the quails and put them in a hot oven for 15 minutes.
Quails will be ready when the crust becomes golden brown.

- 6 clean quail
- 12 vine leaves
- 6 slices of lard (or bacon)
- Puff pastry
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
