Instructions

Clean the tomatoes, remove the stalks and wash them well under running water.

Then, cut them in half and arrange them with the cut side up on a wooden plank.

Salt lightly and place the tomatoes means outside under the Sun for at least 4-5 days to make them dry.

Caution: protect it with gauze and very dense-mesh (mosquito net), otherwise the insects make it a ruin! Past this period, Peel the garlic, clean, cut into slices and put it in the pot where they placed tomatoes.

Add in the vessel bit of chilli and oregano.

Finally, add the sun-dried tomatoes.

Cover the tomatoes with olive oil and seal the jars.

Bring to a boil a pot of water, wrap the pots in a cloth and let them simmer for 25 minutes to sterilize them.

With this original dressing dried tomatoes become very appetising.

They are perfect to enrich sauces and salads or pasta.
