Braised peas and bacon
Instructions
Peel the onions, put them in a saucepan, cover with cold water.
Cover the Pan and bring to a boil, reduce heat and let simmer for five minutes, the onions should be just emotion.
Drain thoroughly.
Cut the bacon into sticks of 1/2 cm wide.
Heat the olive oil in a pan and fry them.
Remove them from the pan with a slotted spoon and drain them on paper towels.
Wash the lettuce leaves and dry them.
Shelled peas.
Put the onions, bacon and peas in a pot from the bottom often.
Add butter, chicken broth, and sugar.
Bring to the boil and simmer 10 minutes, shaking the Pan occasionally, until peas are tender and the liquid is completely absorbed.
Arrange the lettuce leaves on a serving platter and pour over peas.
You can substitute fresh peas with about 500 g of frozen peas.

- 2000 g of fresh peas
- 12 scallions
- 1 slice of bacon (sliced 1/2 cm thick)
- 50 g of butter
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 4 tablespoon of chicken soup
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- 5 leaves of lettuce salad
- Salt
