Basbousa
Instructions
Prepare a syrup with 300 g sugar, 12 Cl of water and lemon juice: boil for 10 minutes to cool.
Toast and chop the almonds.
Whisk the yoghurt with sugar 80 g, 120 g of soft butter, semolina, vanilla, almonds and yeast.
Pour the mixture into a buttered baking dish and bake at 190 degrees for 30 minutes.
Drizzle with the syrup and cook another 5 minutes.
Cool, wet with melted butter and cut into diamonds.

- 120 g of butter
- 150 g of yoghurt
- 250 g of semolina
- 200 g of peeled almonds
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- Vanilla aroma
- 380 g of sugar
- 1/2 lemon
- 130 g of melted butter
