Instructions
Peel the tomatoes, remove the seeds, chop the flesh and season both for 10 minutes in a pan with 4 tablespoons of olive oil and the garlic.
This tomato sauce diluted with 1 cup of boiling water.
Add the chopped bread, stir and when the bread is softened pour into a quart of water.
Savoury Pies.
Cook on moderate fire to obtain a thickish soup.
Turn off and let it sit a few minutes.
Seasoned with a little olive oil.
Stir.
Pour into a soup tureen, sprinkle with grated cheese, sprinkle with a little freshly ground black pepper and serve.

- 400 g of stale bread
- 3 ripe tomatoes
- 1 clove of garlic
- 30 g of grated cheese
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
