Christmas loaf
Instructions
Knead flour with half the bread dough; salt.
Put the dough in 1 Bowl, cover and let rise for 18 hours.
Place the remaining flour and incorporate: marsala, butter, orange flower water, sugar and salt.
Mix and add to the dough by working for 20 minutes.
Stir in fennel, pine nuts, pistachios and pumpkin.
Shaping the dough and place it on buttered plate 1.
Let stand 12 hours, bake at 180 degrees
Ingredients and dosing for 4 persons
- 125 g of flour
- 125 g of sugar
- 50 g of butter
- 50 g of leavened bread dough
- 25 g of pine nuts, pistachios, raisins, candied pumpkin
- 10 g of fennel seeds
- 1 teaspoon of orange flower water
- 1/2 cup of dry marsala wine
- Salt
