Barley soup
Instructions
Wash and coarsely chop half a cabbage, 2 carrots, 2 potatoes, 1 leek, 1/2 celery plant and saute in pan with 1 tablespoon oil, 1 bay leaf and 3 cloves.
Add 100 cl plenty of hot water, 60 g Pearl barley, soaked in water for 12 hours, 400 g smoked pork sliced and chopped 150 g of bacon.
Let simmer for 2 hours, add 20 g of butter, 3 tablespoons milk, a little salt and serve.
Ingredients and dosing for 4 persons
- 1/2 cabbage
- 2 carrots
- 2 potatoes
- 1 leek
- Plant 1/2 of celery
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 leaf of laurel
- 3 cloves
- 100 cl of hot water
- 60 g of pearl barley
- 400 g of smoked pork, sliced
- 150 g of chopped bacon
- 20 g of butter
- 3 tablespoons of milk
- Little of salt
