Soup with onions
Instructions
Chop the onions and place them in Brown with butter and oil.
When they are golden, add the flour and stir well until the latter does not become Brown.
Add the boiling stock, salt, pepper, thyme, bay leaf and simmer for 45 minutes.
Roast in the oven the bread slices and then layer them on the bottom of a soup-tureen, appoggiateci over the slices of Gruyère, then toast and cheese again.
Finally pour over the onion broth, sprinkling everything with nuts of butter and cheese.
Simmer for 10 minutes.
