Millet with vegetables
Instructions
Put all vegetables and cut into pieces in a saucepan with heavy bottom.
Add the millet, parsley, cover with the broth and bring to a boil.
Cook for 30 minutes on low heat and cover.
Check every once in a while it dries, and 5 minutes before end of cooking add the chopped Basil and Marjoram.
Drizzle with the olive oil before serving.
Ingredients and dosing for 4 persons
- 1/2 cup of whole millet
- 2 carrots
- 1 onion
- 2 potatoes
- 1 rapa
- 2 leaves of cabbage
- 3 cups of vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 teaspoons of chopped parsley
- 1 teaspoon of marjoram
- 4 leaves of basil
